Rob,

I have designed and built a hose-anchor that sits on the stairs and will restrain 100" of solution and vac hose (200" total) without slippage.

I have hose hangers, which I dont use, as the hose continually slips out of them. Tried fastening them with releasable tie wraps still no good. I now use bungees, got some from local cheapie shop £ 1.50 for 2. also use them to hold coiled hoses together.

Ian,

At that time in the morning you should be more than HALF asleep  :o

Bungees are those elasticated 'ropes' with a hook on both ends, orriginally designed for use with a roof rack.
