Chip in floor tile

Chip in a grey floor tile on a kitchen floor.

Is there any kind of enamel or other that would cover it and withstand scrubbing etc?

Klindex Stukko Tixo Knife Grade will do it. As regards the last tip of grout forget it because it won't last two minutes.  However a good tiler would probably be able to change the tile for you.

Thanks Kevin. This is for my own kitchen and I only need a tiny drop. Where would be the best place to get it if you don't mind me asking?

Klindex sells this epoxy filler for $4.50 for a tin which includes hardner. When I was in UK
I bought some from Stonetools (44)01892519290 or Apex Grange (some where near Stanstead Airport. Tenex,Aster,General, Bellonzoni are the best quality. Klindex's tends to crack over times.

A simple assistance and advice to a fellow clean it up forum member has erupted in to attack on some one MORE intrested in helping  a fellow cleaner!!!
What's wrong with this Kevin chap? He must be desperate to corner Stone Restoration supply market selling  products without being an official distributor. I have spoken to the USA distributor of KLINDEX (an Italian company) who informs that KLINDEX have an official UK agent based some where in London. Marble Life Ltd I am assured is not a Klindex distributor.
If you looks at the Google site KLINDEX.CO.UK is an official site for Klindex. Let is spend our energies in helping each other and NOT abuse the CLEAN IT UP forum.

You or anyone else is welcome to ring Klindex in Italy.  We are the official UK Distributor  for Klindex.  You definitely have something to do with Amir Patwa my friend or you are him.  Essentially Amir Patwa owns Klindex.co.uk and used to be the official agent.  Unfortunately he is no longer through his underhanded business practice.

We have all Klindex machines, parts and spares in stock as well as a training school in our HQ in Solihull.  Courses are run on a regular basis and the Head of Klindex Italy will be across in the UK with us shortly.

So give me a ring and tell me which one of Ercoles sons you spoke to in the USA.  I will also ask you again!  Who are you?

Ian Taylor & Kevin Martin have really helped me with their advice and getting the correct products to complete jobs. When i first started to get into cleaning, repairs, restoration of Natural stone these guys were on the phone if i had a problem talking me through what needed to be done and i must say
with 100% success. And they use and sell products that have been tried and tested here in the UK and America & Australia etc. So these guys are always the first guys i call for advice and Kevin will sell you the right product for the job.

Yeah except kev has not been doing it that long maybe five years experience

and he does not stand by his machine warranties (he knows what i am talking about too

good luck sherco...

Karl

You clearly don't know me very well!  I have never shirked my responsibilities as a Company Director!!!  We treat everyone fairly.  You however, as well as alienating all my staff you have now managed to alienate me.  I asked you nicely to remove these unfounded allegations you are making on an open Forum.  Your response was to put even more on to clearly try to belittle me.  My quote on the other post was not bragging or a blag as you put it.  I was making my position clear to someone else!

Now you force me to retaliate because you are trying to impress on this forum that I do not stand by my warranties.

Firstly they are not my warranties they are the manufacturers warranties.  So I have got the warehouse to pull your record of purchases out and it is as follows:

You purchased in total TWO Machines from us!!!!

1  You purchased a [/b][/b]secondhand floor scrubber.
You rang and complained after 5 months that it had developed rust pitting on the motor housing cover.
We took it back and gave you a full refund.

2.  You then purchased a new 3300 watt Wet Vac
after some 6 weeks you rang and complained the front caster had fallen off
we asked you to send photos
you sent photos (Which you edited to hide the real damage)
You then after three weeks sent us the vac body
The manufacturers examined it and said it was abuse
Even though you continued to lie to me and said it just fell off and it was a clear case of abuse I still replaced the body free of charge and threw yours away.

These are the only two machines you purchased off us so "Which one are you talking about"

Or are you talking about many of the other items you purchased that you wanted to return because you had changed your mind? Or maybe there was another underlying reason that became apparent!!!

Or is this about all the hundreds of hours I have spent on the phone giving you help and advice?

Or is it because we stopped you having credit because you continuously abused our 30 Day Credit Terms?

Or is it about the free technical day I let you have with us?

Or is it about the course you attended here?

So now you have started this bun fight on a public forum!  Let's hear exactly what machine or problem you are talking about?

Because if you don't substantiate your allegations or write a full apology on here I will as promised refer the matter immediately to our solicitors.

If you think I am not serious "Try Me"

What has Kevin ever done to deserve this......

You have bought this on yourself. Kevin has done nothing but help help and help you and myself. When you tell a story tell the whole story........and as well as this answer and back up what you have said accused i.e not sticking to the warranty!? In what way I mean How many companies would do the following.......

Sell you a second hand machine. You have it for how many months you had it ( And you had been using it) for and then return it to Kevin who gives you a refund. O hang on you hadn't even paid for it!!!! Where as a company did we not stick to a "warranty"

Now the Vac I have lost count how many we have sold of these and we have had two problems one by ourselves where one of the guys was frustrated and took the full 90litre vac and rammed it over some cobbles and the front wheel buckled from the bearings. The second from you and when I asked you about it you was working on a outside job and told me you where going to empty it then the wheel "popped out" now when we received it back from you eventually some 3 weeks later the caster hadn't popped out it was bent and the bearings had gone this was clearly your abuse and inexperience. Anyway despite all this we sorted it for you! AGAIN Where as a company did we not stick to a "warranty"

As for me telling you to F**k off dam right I did I have a lot of patience and do not blow my fuse often but you just couldn't except that you was at fault you didn't pursue it so I think you know it was you at fault. And yes I am sorry for saying that to you but there comes a time when enough is enough. From Conversations with you where you have bought other goods from before us you seem to have issue with them in some way or another as well.

Now what ever has come into your mind to attack Kevin I don't know I have a few theories just by looking at your other posts.

Now as for Kevin giving you work lets address this we are not some franchise! But what I can tell you is that I and Kevin both recommend people and not just customers that purchase from us. And this includes YOU what more would you like Kevin to quote it for you? Do your accounts for you? In fact would you like us to do the job for you and give you all the product and the money for nothing?

I also told Kevin he would be wasting his time by giving you the chance to give a apology as what I believe is that you are a sinking ship and are looking to take someone down with you. It would be sad to see so I hope things will pick up for you or perhaps you will find something that is more to your strength. I suggest start with something simple not slandering people that do not deserve it.

Good luck

my other issue with you as that you supply and do the work ,  when i was buying off you you took on a job right next to my home town and you had to travel over 110miles to get there for me it was only ten miles away you could have asked if i was interested.

This is your real issue!

You bleating about us not giving you work!

As Antony said I also found out today you hadn't even paid for the Rotary so you just used it for 5 months free of charge and then returned it.

I have also sold hundreds of those vacs as well as us running 6 ourselves and yours was the only complaint to date.

SO HERE IS MY OFFER ON A PUBLIC FORUM RETURN IT WITHIN ONE WEEK AND YOU CAN HAVE A FULL REFUND!!!

Then please feel free to purchase from anywhere you like!  Go and bother James at Extensive.  Just don't contact me again! Your other suppliers are welcome to you complete with bleating and moaning!!!

I have just found out that you have had the 3300 Watt Triple Motor Wet Vacuum for over a year!  until you started Bleating on here about it!

Despite this I will still honour my offer

Provided I get it back by next Friday the 18th November that gives you 6 Days left to return it for a refund and you will have the money for Christmas then!

Just think you will have then had a Vacuum for free for nearly 13 Months and a Floor Scrubber for 5 Months both
 "FREE OF CHARGE"

What a service eh!!!

Even you can't find anything to complain about now!!!  Surely???
