Hi All,

I'm after some constructive criticism of my van signage first draft... What do you think?

Thanks,
Andy

The two telephone numbers need to be the same size, however you achieve that.

Thanks - good point!

Have you had your van sign written? If so who did it?

You'll probably get sued by Ionics for some sort of trade infringement but I think it looks really good !

Really nice that

As Matt said phone numbers to be the same size. Plus ( and this is only my opinion )
The services needs slight adjustment it's all cleaning...

Could you not change gutter cleaning to gutter clearing.  And pressure cleaning to pressure washing?

Looks Good Andy, I agree with Matt regarding the phone numbers

Dont think I would agree with Danny on Transit Custom comment though, I had a trafic 115 which was more car like to drive and considerably quick than the transit 125 custom I've got now, The transit is better made though

I gotta say Steve I had Traffic for 5 years was a good van, only had one prob go wrong with it and that was the wiring loom. The van was great but getting the part I had to wait a week as it was comming from France.

The transit I find just as good, couldn't tell ya if its quicker as its been restricted to 70 mph but has alot more mod cons.. The good thing is its a ford and the parts are there on the day if need be
Steve is cover the front grill with a piece of mesh as a stone went they mine a done my rad, you take alook at the gaps of the plastic that's a bad point on this van

I did mine. Used a local company to do the decals and fitted myself.

I'll put pics up later if you like.

I like that Andy - make the numbers the same size as has been mentioned previous & you're onto a winner - very smart looking!  ;D

I think that a lot of businesses tend to do the same thing you have done - that is place their company name in much larger letters than the description of the business itself.  I think that is fine for companies where the brand name is instantly recognisable - as in 'Heinz' or 'Kelloggs'. However, I don't think 'Iconic' does the same thing so I would make all the lettering in 'Iconic Window Cleaning' the same size - just my opinion - but other than that I think the branding looks good.

Cheers, Tom

Looks really good, but not as good as ours :)

The problem is though you'll turn up looking professional, and then you get out of the van......

As you've got 'window cleaning' up the top, you probably don't need to repeat it at the bottom.
Would make it a bit neater to read. Personally, I'd remove the mobile no.

You'll probably get sued by Ionics for some sort of trade infringement

They can try - but Iconic is a completely different word to Ionic  ;)

Disagree with this.  Repeating the main service is a good thing.

And as for the mobile number, IMO some costomers like to text, so I'd definately leave it on.  Plus, mobile numbers are no longer viewed as naff compared to land line numbers, people call them knowing they're more likely to be answered.

I don't think that is likely as they are different words.  The only problem I can see is that it DOES look like you're trying to trade off their name, which makes you look lame.

No it doesn't.
Agree with not repeating the word 'cleaning'
And Iconic Window Cleaning all one size.
Perhaps a 'call now!' ?
Looks nice though.

Not trying to trade off their name at all... They supply WFP equipment... I clean windows...    8)
