Hi just wondering if anybody useing wfp and processing water at home pays buisiness rates on their property, Its unclear to me whether we qualify or not.

Before registering any part of your property for business rates (usually only done in order to try and claim a percentage of utility bills against your tax bill) consider the fact that if you decide in the future to sell the property the inland revenue can if they wish decide to charge you capital gains tax on that part of the property as it is then considered a business asset and as such any profit upon it is taxable  Andy
