Thanks for the heads up on that one - will be there from Monday morning, for the week!!!.

Richy - They are on the works now. I don't know how quickly you could get a place on one of their testing days but really if you want this sort of work in the future - get it sorted now, possibly for next time. Have a look on their website!!

You will struggle to get on construction works without it now. When I spoke to Deans contact this morning he insisted that it was a requirement.

Aren't they all the same. It is the same initial test and all that is different is you can have three or four categories put onto it, relevant to your works.

Give me five and I will go and have a look!!

WHITE/ GREY CARD - CONSTRUCTION RELATED OCCUPATION (CRO)

This card covers construction related occupations not covered by the other categories of card and shows the holder's occupation.

A CRO card is valid for five years and to renew it applicants must retake and pass the ConstructionSkills health and safety test.

iv just ordered the green card for general operative/labourer will that do or should i get it changed got the tests on 26th july

I don't think you have gone for the right card. That one is for basic labourers and you will be looking for one that shows that you offer pressure washing, window cleaning etc.

Mine has;

Industrial cleaner
Steam cleaning operative
Cleaning & decontamination operative.

On the one you have gone for there is no option to suit your trade. I don't think it will make an difference and you will get on site but if someone gets pernickety - it is definitely not right!!

Phone them up and ask them which is the right card!!

I have done lots of work for company you will be working for and have the basic  cscs card and thats all i have ever needed cheers laurie

No not in this one mate im too busy at the moment just helping out on the recruitment,

You can book and take the test within a few day time span,

Most sites accept a recent pass certificate which you get on the day.

I think it was Martin? who rang me and he said he would email the details over but he hasn't got back to me yet. Did text him earlier. Told me it was in Stone - Leyland but I don't know the area at all.
