Sometimes they dry out fine, i would strip it down to as many components as you can remember to put back together then leave to dry in a warm place for a day or so.

My little one dropped one of mine into a glass of red wine  :(
Not amused!

take it apart (i.e battery out and back off)

let it dry out in the airing cupboard for a few days

then try it, you have 2 chances ;)

What were you doing playing with your phone in the bogs anyway?

Public toilets?
Were you on the blower to George Michael?

it was the most common reason for insurance claims some time ago. I cannot find the link but the reasons for claiming were quite hillarious.

My good lady put mine through the washing machine (blamed me for not emptying my pockets).  After drying it out, it seemed to work, but then I realised that no one could hear me - damage to the microphone - Had to order a new phone! :'(

You might find more help as well as you have posted a general question  about a mobile phone on a window cleaning section.

When I was trad I put my bucket (half full of fairy liquid solution) in the front footwell of the car. My mobile was on the front seat and I braked sharpish to let a land rover through a narrow gap.

The phone flew into the bucket and worked when it was dry a couple of days later but the screen never worked and I had to dial "blind" and couldn't text.

Six months later the screen suddenly started working again.

As I can't move, I have to lock it.

Too many inane replies too.

You'll have to re-start it in the relavent section of the forum.
