Whats your idea of a perfect round?
« on: August 04, 2005, 10:21:26 am »
Just wondered what members of this site would consider to be their best scenario, round wise i mean, for example, how about a round of bungalows only, great from the safety aspect!  any other ideas?

 :)

Perfect round?

List of about 800 clients, don't want their windows cleaned anymore, but like me so much, continue to send me the money for the rest of my life.
Well ya gotta start somewhere!

i have a good round built up by some1 else over the space of 12 years (he then retired so i brought it off him)

park car, do days work never moving the car once, this is ideal as time spent in the car is money lost, i now have street where i do allmost every house, its great and works well

i must admit i am happy with my round

add to it a little comercail that i can do B4 i start my domestic and im happy

i could do with 2 more pubs to be honest then i wouldnt have anything else to aim for

All customers paying regularly by standing order, all lumped together in one area, all between one and two miles from my house. No locked gates. All very pleasant, courteous people, preferably attractive ladies!

(Who say things like:-)

"It's lovely to see you, the sun's gonna come out now!"
"Would you like a drink - sorry I've only got choccy biscuits for you today."
"Can you do our offices please they're half a mile away, need doing weekly and are about one hours work for £100."
"Oooh! aren't you strong and young looking!"

 ;D ;D ;D

(OK, I can live without the last one!)
It's a game of three halves!

Houses that don't have patio's cluttered with

bicycles,
tricycles,
motorcycles,
paddling pools,
old washing machines,
cookers, car engines, footballs,
kids, large plant pots full of triffids, washing lines.

Have I forgotten anything?

My ideal round would be 300 bungalows all close together with no locked gate, Customer don't mind if its raining as they are glad to have you.
All leave there money out hidden somewhere so there is no collecting.

just give me a load of bungalows all with owners who work at home.....

ooohhh and priced so i can do 60 quid a hour standing on my head :)

i have to agree about the back gardens being filled with crap though, i do few like that and it still shocks me that they expect me to get to all the blasted windows, its like running the crypton factor doing those jobs :(
"excuse me..... are you a window cleaner?"
"no love im a airline pilot"

dont you just love this job?

Or preferably who always turn up as you're doing the last window (in time to pay you) not realising you've done the whole place in ten minutes flat. ;D
