malg havent done it for that long this will be my second job of my own doing wfp i have done days here and there for people on a daily rate using wfp , but this will be my 2nd job of my own i have quoted for and got.

i reckon it will take me 4 working days with two people , i pay hime £100 per day . so enuf for me out of it , it took the last guy 2 weeks traditional. by himself . so i think 4 days with two guys one doing inside one doing outside.

So that's about a grand for four days.  That sounds like an ace job Shawn.  Congratulations.  Even if you are a bit out on the calculations, there's plenty of room for error.  You going to post again afterwards to say how long it took.  I would be interested.

congrats

is that 1000 windows doing both sides so that makes 2000 windows
or is it 500 outside and the same 500 inside to make the 1000

i reckon if it is the former it will take 2 men  35 -40 hours i based this on some nursing homes i do with a lot of windows and multiplied.

Good one shaun !!  Enjoy the buzz !!

Just out of interest did you have to register with the local council/LEA as one of their approved contractors to get this job or are they paying for it out of their own budget ?

Has any one else managed to get on the contractors approved list of businesses as I've been told that once you get on one the jobs keep rollin'  in.  (Council OAP homes, schools etc).  Secondly if you have did you have to go in at stupidly low prices to get the jobs or are the jobs really profitable ?

Just one tip though practice on more windows before you go
Sarah
