Got to work this morning & was started by 7.45, 8.15 it was warming up, by 8.30 off with the jumper & t shirt only all day. 

has the warmer weather finally come, 
shorts with in a month, 

call me a SOUTHERN SOFTY, a WIMP,  . I can live with that, got loadssss of work done,  , .

Dont you find it makes all the difference?

Im a Southern softy too , went out at 9 , t shirt only , 1130 came and i had over a tonne in my pocket , thought sweet , think ill go in town and buy my little girl her first pair of adidas trainers , they are tiny weeny !
Also got myself sunglasses , trainers , shorts and printed tees , im gonna be the catalogue kid of window cleaners , onwards and upwards this year .

ive got my shorts ready, short socks, my partner got them for me cause she said i looked like an old fart with my socks up to my knee caps , well i am 40 this year , cant believe it, my head tells me im 21, the mirror 31,  , birth cert 40 , my kids OLD & past it .

Sorry Craig , told a bit of a porky there , gonna take them in on thursday , it is a local place , they dont charge much , they did the signwriting on my first van for a pitance so im not expecting a big bill .

Macc, already had my shorts on for 3 weeks and they will be on now till end of september come rain or shine.
This must be one of the best jobs in the world at this time of the year.
Just a shame about the winter! but i suppose you have to take the rough with the smooth.

Ronaldo , your right , this really is the best job in the summer , only been at it properly for 2 years or so , but boy do i wish i had done it sooner , no naggin boss , apart from her indoors , knock off when i want , and the winters , they aint that bad , i always make sure i have a few days of wet weather work booked in , gutters , internals and the like .

Ronaldo , my last job was multi drop around Cornwall , absolute nightmare , 11 hour days on average for £220 in my hand a week .
Now i can get that in a day if im in the frame of mind .

I no exactly where your coming from Richie my old pal, i wish i had started doing this when i left school.
All 3 of my lads have said they would all want to do it full time when they leave school.
