hi
has anyone trained as a BICS  assessor. Iam thinking of taking the training.
However as they have limited who you  can offer training to it limits its use.

Input would be appreciated.

cheers

typical of BICS which is as usual totally worthless.

I wouldn't waste my cash on them

It can save allot of money in the long run as larger tenders require staff trained to BICS standards. You can only class them as being trained to BICS standards if they have done the course or you are an approved assesor and internally training your staff. I think its crazy as they sell the dvds to train and manuals, however if you are not a BICS approved trainer you cant class your staff as being BICS trained??? Does'nt make sence

Hi
Yes they seem very corporate these days , and more interested in income streams than training.

They also seem to have endless white tie award dinners instead of doing something to promote the industry.

What I find difficult to swallow is it costs a bit to become an assessor but the you can't offer training to anyone, only your own staff.

Cheers

Please can anyone recommend a suitable alternative which would allow us to be in a position to tender and/or gain acceptance on Approved Contractors Lists.
