How do I stop my outside water tank going green .i keep jetwashing it out about once a month
-
Empty it , bleach it , rinse it , cover it with something that does not let light through , just about all you can do !
-
Black plastic Pallett wrap.
-
Green algae cant grow/survive without light.
-
Or invest in a black ibc tank instead.
Thats what i did, as i knew mine would be outside.
-
Cheers .i will try that 👍🏻

Someone painted theirs with black paint leaving a narrow stripe so they could see the level in the tank without having to unscrew the lid every time.

Before I put my IBC in a shed I put 2" insulation round it and over it and gaffer taped it.
Love the old gaffer tape!.
