Grout Colorant - Regrouting New
« on: October 13, 2015, 04:23:37 pm »
If you have been asked by a customer or considering a rake-out and re grout, my advice would be to take a closer look at the state of the grout before proceeding.  If the grout is cracked, uneven in appearance, loose, very low or in any way defective then re grouting may be the only thing you can do.

However,  if the only issue is colour either (patchy, shading, badly stained, customer chose the wrong colour in the first place etc) then there could be an easier answer: by using PSRP Grout Colorant.

PSRP Grout Colorant is not a gimick, DIY store quick fix, it is, in fact a very hi-tech solution.  It is not a cheap emulsion, stain, dye or paint that will wash out, it is a water-dispersed, hi-grade urethane formulation available in over 15 popular colours .

It will bond to all existing grout whether (cement based, polymer modified and even existing epoxy grouts provided they are clean and free of contaminants). It does not bond to glazed tiles or properly sealed stone, it washes off with just water and a white emulsifying pad.

When applied correctly and cured it is not a botch or temporary cure  in fact, far from it.  The result in fact is the grout has now been improved permanently! it is now not only a uniform, consistent colour, but also it is completely sealed making future cleaning much easier.   With the correct maintenance and cleaning it can last for up to 20 years and can be used on walls, floors and worktops, both inside and out.

Uses:
1. Recolours old grout.
2.  Seals previously leaking grout in wet rooms and showers.
3. Rectifies with ease wrong colour grout problems and makes patchy grout a clean even colour.  (recommended and used by many grout suppliers when new grout turns out patchy, wrong colour or simply uneven in appearance).
4.  Quick to apply and clean off.
5.  Very profitable work.

Grout Coloring is one of the Modules on our Hard Floor Course.

Samples are available from us at £2.95 and includes postage and a grout brush applicator.
