Sounds like the battery I had similar issues with one replaced the battery at £200 and that solved the issue theses lithium batteries are a pita one cell goes down and it will shut the lot down , mine was showing fully charged but the controller inside the battery was faulty , you can’t replace the controller only the battery .

Hi,

For those of you with a water meter.

Would you be kind enough to give me a rough idea on what sort of price I can expect to pay annually for my 300,000 litres (pure/waste) of window cleaning water?

I'm in the south east, and I've tried to work it out, but I don't trust my calculations.

Nick

300,000 litres is 300 cubic metres. Roughly £3.50 or so per cubic metre depending on where you are so about £1,000

But...

Pop a meter of you own on there, let the water company know you've done it and give them your reading every time they send you a bill and they'll not charge you the sewerage part of the bill, typically about 2/3 of the bill, dropping you down to closer to £350 or so.

You may need to hassle them to recognise what you're doing, so do it all in writing and keep copies. You'll get there if you persist.

Vin

Check battery voltage and all connections and fuse holders. It could be a corroded connection or just the battery is on it's last legs.

Who is the best supplier of these?

Have HT Cleaning supplies gone out of business?

Just to add . I put a new shurflow pump on about a month ago . Replacing the one that came with it as that pump just wasn’t powerful enough . But it had worked fine up to now .

That will be an x-jet - it mix’s in the nozzle you get various inserts to have different strengths but tbh I only ever used the max strength mixture.

If you diy you can put a chemical injector on the end of the lance  put a qr on it for quick change and a female 1/4 qr after so you can have different nozzles

The above was done this way - cost effective - instant - quick to set up and use

The Radial Rocker brush:
(I have a 14in version more scrubbing power pounds per force than a larger 18in) and find it a heavy brush to use. Only use it on heavily soiled glass or if someone has thrown egg and eggshell on glass. Blue steel pad is the best for removing egg, it works better than bronze wool, magic erasure and green bee rubber pad). Used on solar panels for removing lichen, adequate.

Only use cold or warm water and bristles don't deform or fall out even on conservatories which tend to pull bristles from other brushes. Can buy replacement bristles if need be. The thing that tends to wear out is the bumper protectors every six-twelve months as a rule through heavy use daily.
