Hi,

No,

The Progrip handle secures the rubber. Have never needed end clips. Am curios as to why Darren says your better of with them.

The reason is, I've always used brass channels but i'm gonna try s/steel ones. I'm led to believe they're lighter. I have pro-grip handles & super-system handles.
Will the super-system handle hold the s/steel channel?

The ends of brass channels wear quite quick I find too.

So, anyone used both & which is better for what reason?

Hi,

I am sure you have to have the stainless steel clamp with the super syatem  not brass clamp. If you have brass clamp it will not secure rubber so end clips will be needed. Ask before buying.

Stainless channels are much better for longevity. The super-system handles will hold the stainless steel channel.

Thanks all.

So can I still use end clips if I want to? Just doesn't sound right not having end clips, doesn't the rubber just push back in when pushed up against the frame?

You can still use end clips if you want to.  Personally I've never used end clips on any channels, ever!
