"oh no they don't" i said
"oh yes...... you get the picture

"okay i'll pay you double at the end of the year providing they work for me"

I have a similar approach.

Either show me someone who is making on it or put your money where your big mouth is. They always back down on the bullpoop then. If it truly was a good deal they would bite your hand off for a chance to prove themselves.

Got a call from company installing 42" tv's with constantly running advertising in Hospitals, thought it might work for our Care business.

Where are they being located ? Oh the busiest place in the hospital, the A & E waiting area  ::) ::)
end of call.

I did the hospital waiting areas TV advertising about 18 years ago - disaster.
and I would say anything similar is a disaster too - like Sainsbyurys, Post Office etc etc.

None of those work, if they did we'd be beating down their doors, not them approaching us.

The only one that has worked for someone i knew years ago,
was postcard sized leaflets approx' 5' 6" off the ground, directly in front of urinals.
He did very well off those about 9 years ago.

Better still, put them in a holder on the back of the doors inside ladies loos - there the ones that phone us!..... and what with mobiles being so common these days....... who knows when the call may come!
