Mytee Speedster - Heater problem
« on: April 19, 2009, 01:30:57 pm »
My machine is Mytee Speedster 1003. I bought 2nd hand off ebay recently.

I knew the heater was not working when i bought it.

I had a look inside and found that the auto thermostat on the bottom heater was damaged and the wires that connect to it had melted around the spades.

I replaced that thermostat (ordered part from woodbridge commercial) and replaced spades.

Now the button on the 'manual' thermostat keeps popping out every time i try using the bottom heater.

The solution temp is very poor (it only ever gets luke warm when using cold water).

Do i replace both heating rods to fix the problem?

I have sorted the problem it was operator error!!

I spoke to Martin @ WCS and he told me that the pump needs to be on when the heater is on. He also mentioned that the heaters sensors are prone to pop out (once machine is up running at full temp) if you do not spray with wand for a minute or 2.
