need a new vac?
« on: December 30, 2008, 09:35:10 pm »
did a childrens nursery today,  I pre-vacced with a twin motor commercial (and I did a very therough job).

when I finished I thought I'd give it a scrub with the rotory to try and loosen out more dirt.

this is what it looked like after a good scrub!!

Derek,  the Flexi 5 is no longer available ( so I've heard) but I wouldn't think the brushes would be stiff enough to loosen this amount of ingrained dirt

Paul, It was just dirty, but I think the lighting conditions of the photo don't help the appearance of this photo

I'm still trying to get my head around what the photo's showing me !  I presume that Mike initially used a twin-vac tub machine (without rotating brush).  These are probably the strongest vacuum machines e.g. air flow and all that, but they use a wand head only.

Derek: I think the forum generally awaits more information of the Flexi-5 (I'm waiting with much interest as well)

Pete, the carpet was full of ingrained sand, this is what is visible in the photos after scrubbing.

I used a upright commercail twin motor vacuum
