I know I rarely post on here these days but have to say that this piece of
kit can develop many from being just a good carpet cleaner into someone thata is running a very well oiled business. For me, this is as good as fastrack without the gimmicks.

I have just downloaded the software and given it a quick work out. I have to say I am incredibly impressed. It is very stable and seems to have most of the features a small carpet cleaning business would require. I would recommend that everybody has a look and uses the trial version.

Very well priced too for a specialised piece of software.

I am using business contact manager for outlook in conjunction with Microsoft Accounting which gives me more functionality but it has taken alot of effort to tailor it to my requirements. The beauty of this package is that you can download it and start using it within an hour.

My wife has a system she is used to but i will run this by her. Cheap price for a tailored software package and i am sure if used correctly very powerful.

Just had a good go over the site and it looks good, but i think if you add some webpage templates and SEO tips along with some marketing stratigies you will be able to take on the big boys and you will NEVER raise a wand in anger again..

I thank you all ever so much for your kind words, it is appreciated.

You know what it's like, we were running our business and got completely fed up trying to do it properly. We spent a fair bit of money trying different databases but none of them worked, they each had there place but found duplicating details was a pain.

Which is why we did what we did. Especially the mail merging. It could take us a whole weekend to sort out but now it's done in half an hour. We are better off for it and now spend much more time as a family. It sounds corny but it's true!

I'm also saving a fair bit of money because it tells me where I'm wasting my money, and where to put even more money to give even greater profits. If someone else had done this I would have bought it in a flash.

I know anyone will benefit from it, and I would like to hear of all the success stories after using it for a while.

Hi Derek

You can only e mail the the integrated system quotations or invoices - it's impossible to do it any other way. There is no way of bringing in an outside 'sheet' so to speak, because the system also uses info from the invoice/quote to run the reports.

Yes, simply select the column you want to bring in and paste it into the column in the file in the programme. Then do the other ones until you have all the ones that you want.

Hate to say it Kevin, but it's very hard for me to veiw this as a post from a fellow carpet cleaner, but more as a sales pitch from some one who wants my money. I will have a look at it but what does it do that you can't do with microsoft office? If you are going to pitch us, at least tell us why we should choose it above other software.

I find it hard to believe that you have the resources to devolop a piece of software that outperformes the microsoft stuff. If It's just about keeping all the tools in one neat folder then I guess that may be enough to please some. If it does something that can't be done by software that most PC literate folks have already, I reckon you should tell us about these benefits in your sales pitch. If there are no benefits, I will understand you not responding to this particular point.


I don't want to judge it without giving it a trial but surely the key to making any business software work for you is actually making the time to input the info so you can make it do something useful. If you are throwing in a free data entry person, I will be the first to come on here and sing your praises.  I don't imagine I will be at the front of the que with my cheque book.

I see you can upload your logo into the programe which could be very useful.

That is simply not true, because usually any reference on here to CCDO is removed before most members see it. In fact I think Kevin may have said this because he only found out about the  CCDO website a few weeks ago.

And if the product can organise your business better and potentially help you make more money I think most people would be hacked off if he had produced something like this and didn't tell evereryone.

I have no problem with Kev promoting his software because he is a carpet cleaner who has been here for ages, its not like the Canadian leather guy who just comes on here to push his products.

BUT!!!!.....

it s bit like me taking my own sandwiches into a cafe in town, they pay to have that cafe in town, they pay for the staff, they pay for the table & chairs. is it Ok for me walk in, use their facilities to eat my own sandwich?.

Express cleaning has paid money and put effort into building this forum to what it is. its not right that people use thier hard work to sell there own products,

I honestly didnt think when I posted it though - if I had known I would have asked Mike first without a shadow of a doubt. I have the camelot software program from the states, very expensive, you don't get much change out of £2000.00 at todays £/$ ratio but very good, i just can't believe what some people want for a little over £200.00.

I've had a look at the program and some of you guys out there should buy it at that price, This will help you out alot, i know what kev is talking about when you try to remember when you last done a job for someone, looking through old paper work, double mailing etc.

PS  This will save you alot of time (the only thing you can't buy)

First of all well done for designing a product  that looks simple to use.

I cannot see what it will do that i cannot do already with Accounts and database programmes but if you do not have any fine.

I just wondering how much time was spent on developing software but more importantly testing it.

Commmercial software companies have complete departments dedicated to breaking the software.

I think by now kev knows he is a little out of rder in the way he set about promoting the product. I notice that truckmounters pulled the post altogether.


In his defense he is only doing what Internet marketing urus tell you to do on how to launch a product. get postings on Forums and Blogs BUT most Forums across all industries have tightened up on this

Thanks Mark, its good to know that you along with many others out there who can see exactly what actually does! The feedback already has been amazing with some very kind words expressed to me personally.

What you said about the price though, and of the software that you use, I have had CC's who have had extensive years in the industry, who have said that the price tag for Cleaners Mate is way too cheap The thing about it though is that we wanted to make it affordable to all CC's which is why we priced it where it at that level.

Hope it was the right thing to do!

Well done on putting together a producy lots of carpet cleaners (and other businesses) forget to carry out.

As most of us know by now you can't be a master of all trades and it's diificult enough sometimes doing the job. So you forget who your customers are when you cleaned etc.  I learnt quite quickly you need to get organised, run a database, nudge/remind your customers they need their carpets cleaned etc. Once I had that in place my business changed dramatically.

So well done Kev for "filling" that slot. If youv'e been in business for 1 day or 10 years, you need a piece of software like this. Implement it and youre on the road to a structured business.
