didn't the guy from 'Allo 'Allo get hit by one falling and was in hospital for a while... my Mum told me that though... and she's french so it's probably not true!

during one of the big storms of the early nineties, a peice of wood was blown from a truck infront of his car, the wood pierced the windscreen of his car and then his skull , but it didn't kill him
