I've been asked to provide COSHH details with my risk and method statement for an office building quote - serious!

COSHH is the Control of Substances that are Hazordous to Health.

So I've found one for Fairy Liquid (it's inside and out):

But I can't find a COSHH for deionised water?

Has anyone got one of these?

i dont know but i heard its AGRESSIVE stuff surely you dont need coshh for water, unless theres a risk of drowning ??

Just because it's water doesn't mean it doesn't have a COSHH data sheet. 

It could be some sort of weak acid solution, not water I'm using, for all they know?

But if you google, I can find information similar to a COSHH data sheet, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for; though it will fit the bill.

I can't be the first window cleaner to be asked for COSHH details; in fact on my method and risk assessment I say that I can provide them on request ( ).

Oh, the offices I'm cleaning do something with regards to fossil fuels; something clever; I'm not sure exactly, and all their contractors have to show that they're 'green' and 'environmentally friendly'.

I could/can; I even said 'water?' when I was asked for COSHH details on any chemicals I would be using.  But after giving it a bit of thought, I think it's fair enough.  As I say, I might be a bit 'crazy' and decide to use some liquid acid solution or something. 

I guess it's their umbrella.

I have actually got a simpler one than this that I have laminated, but since changing vans and cleaning out the old one it has got misplaced with all the other crap that collects in a works van.
