Hollywood window cleaners.
« on: January 19, 2015, 11:01:39 am »
What started as a friendly chat turned out nasty on his behalf.

I thought a trad cleaner was interested in swapping over but NOPE.

Apparantly I am a Hollywood window cleaner.

I asked what's that?

"You water fed guys are all the same"

New van
Over weight
Sunglasses on
Professional system
£500 a day
Free Gardiner beanie hat (made me laugh)

He chipped in with suprised you ain't got a young lad who you pay £5 an hour too.

Tbh I had no comeback as I was speechless and he was getting quite angry.

So yeah. Welcome to Hollywood.

If P dale reads this its that estate in Biggleswade where you took half his round  ;D

You should have just replied
New van - Not brand new
Over weight - Nope, fit as a fiddle actually
Sunglasses on - when its sunny of course
Professional system - for a professional business
£500 a day - Nope, more (that would wind him up :)
Free Gardiner beanie hat (made me laugh) - Keeps my head warm

He was on Kings Reach then followed me onto Saxon estate. He didn't follow me, just we were working in that order if it makes sense.

He's got an Astra car bluey/purple like a P reg or R reg.

Whos ya mate? I have only seen two WFP guys in biggleswade actually clean. Ecopure (Olivers brother, grippa max) and highreach or highwash something.

I know of others, but never seen their vans lol.

This guy is crap at trad and when P dale knocked for me 90% of new work is from this same guy  :-X :-X :-X

He sounds like someone who has spent a bit of time on here, how would he know about Gardiners free beanie hats
or the £500 a day claims that you only ever hear about on here.
Are you sure it not somebody you have rubbed up the wrong way on here.

I honestly don't know. He's got some WFP knowledge as he mentioned my van is Delivery only system. Was asking about the system, why do i use gardiner poles then he just literally flipped when i told him how much it was lol. It was like a bomb went off inside his head.

90% of your work on that estate you do you took off him then bragged about your gear whilst cleaning the house next door to the one he was doing, a house with 90% chance he used to clean....

i see no reason for him to be anything other than completely nice to you ;)

the only thing you could probably do to him thats any worse is sleep with his wife / set fire to his p-reg astra lol. tbh some window cleaners deserve to loose all their work, where im from theres a minority that give us hard workers a bad name makes it ten times more difficult to get work.

LMFAO!!!!!! Hoesntly he is shocking. I was actually going to offer him
Help to build a DIY system if he was serious about it. I don't think it's jealousy on his part. I got the feeling he was angry at me for not being like every other window cleaner lol.

I think he flipped when you told him how much Gardiner poles are. because 1 pole is the price of his S**** Astra. He then realised he couldn't buy a pole and his weed. Why do they all drive astras  ;)

Maybe I am being nieve thinking I could take his work and he would be ok with it lol. Surely he must get complaints all day and every day and get used to it haha.

I can be misunderstood online but in real life I will help anyone including the competition. I am very passionate about window cleaning as I worked in a call centre for nearly £7 a hour!!
