Hi there all_in_1 - or can I call you Al?

Be good and fill in your profile, nobody likes talking to strangers ;)

Here's a list, in no particular order, from my bookmarks.

http://www.laddersuk.net/2640/frames.php (turn off the volume!)

http://www.titanladders.co.uk/PAGES/flash.html They don’t sell direct, but will tell you your local stockist

http://www.lfi-ladders.co.uk/ their window cleaners ladders look an exact copy of Ramsays - or maybe they just order in bulk and take a %

I have to tell you that I've been using Ramsays for nearly 20 years and have only ever used Youngmans apart from them - I'd recommend Ramsays, but I'm sure others will be along soon to tell you why you should go for their choice!

ALWAYS order fitted non-slip grips from whichever supplier you decide to use, and check out this site too . . . http://www.scafftag.co.uk/fshome.asp - as recommended some time ago by Alan Lillington - thanks Al.  8)

Click on "Products" on the left and then scroll down till you click on LADDERTAG - and then click through the three headings.

SO simple to use - all you need is a drill and a pop rivet gun - and it certainly covers your catflap if you have any claims against you. It might look expensive versus DIY, but I think it's well worth it.

No connection - just a happy user who can see the potential in connection with Health +Safety.

Scafftag Ladder Inspection System
Contents:-

The Yellow Book
Which contains:- Inspection Data : H+S Legislation & British Standards : H+S Guidance : Risk Assessment : Ladder Registers  : Inspection Reports : Notification of Fault Reports
Sample Laddertag + Insert
WS03 Scafftag System Wallchart
WS04 Ladder Inspection Guide
Laddertag Brochure
Range Brochure

I also got a pack of ten tags and inserts, six of which are now in use, and including P+P and VAT the total came to £66.09

You could DIY, but this saves a whole load of faffing about and works out to £6 per ladder over 18 months - or three years if you write small on the ladder inspection inserts!
