Title: Wirral based WC website for sale
Post by: Nathanael Jones on June 14, 2016, 07:04:10 pm
I've had a cancellation on a website due to ill health - so now its up for sale. http://wirralwindowcleaner.com

Its been live since the beginning of February so its had chance to generate some google rankings, and its optimised geographically for Tranmere, Rock Ferry, Birkenhead, Bebbington, Spital, Bromborough, Ellesmere Port, Chester, Irby, Pensby and surrounding areas.

Obviously, most of the existing photos/logo etc belong to the old owner, so included in the price is swapping in your photos, logo, colour scheme & adjusting the pages/text/Google optimisation etc to suit your company.

£34 a month on a rental scheme, or £450 one-off cost to buy it out. info@avondhu-internet.com

Where does the site ranks for 'window cleaning' and 'window cleaner' , and where you expect it to be after you optimise it? It doesn't even have a sitemap now

What makes you think it doesn't have a sitemap? The sitemap is auto generated/updated by the SEO plugin and was submitted to Google when the site originally launched. You can find it here: http://wirralwindowcleaner.com/sitemap_index.xml

The site isn't optimised for "Window Cleaning" or " Window Cleaner" as these terms are too generic to bring in any useful traffic - instead its optimised for geographically valuable key-phrases like "Wirral window cleaners", "Gutter cleaner Wirral" and "Window cleaner Bromborough" etc etc.

By targeting key-phrases that are searched by people within the service area you get a lot less competition, higher rankings and more enquiries that turn into jobs.

That said - this was built as a pay-monthly site and cancelled after the first month (I've since introduced a 12 month minimum contract because of this),... I got paid a grand total of £35 for the 6 days of work that went into it - so as you can imagine I got more than a bit annoyed over it, & did zero SEO work on it since, so currently its ranking page 2 and 3 for most searches in the area,.. though a bit of work and a few well written blog posts could easily improve that.
