Backpacks for sale
« on: June 01, 2006, 06:26:59 pm »
I have got 2 backpacks for sale

Item 1 complete backpack sureflo with charger etc
Item  2 same as above but one connector snapped where the hose connects to the trigger. still perfectly useable if you do what Tosh and others have done with there's

E-mail me with your best prices to be inclusive of postage and state which item you require or both.

I am doing it this way because i was inundated with requests the last time i mentioned they were for sale. And partly because i dont know how much to charge for them
I was going to list them on E-bay but i thought to be fair i would post them here and have a mini auction.

I think this is the fairest way to do it

P.s  The backpacks will be put in the post on Monday morning

Dave, how about £100 for one of them, plus what-ever it costs you to post it?

I think you can get them from e-bay for around £130 to £160!

So, cash up front, I could send you £120 tomorrow by royal mail special delivery (£20 to cover postage).

Just e-mail me your address.

Davie

Why do you say that, in what way does it suck ,

It was short and sweet and a bit of fun.

I could of easily listed them on E-bay but chose to sell them here instead and give a fellow forum member a chance instead.

The auction lasted 5 1/2 hours and thee backpacks went to people who do not already own one.

If i would of just put them for sale i would of got loads of emails and it would have been hard to pick. The last time i mentioned i might sell them i got over 20 E-mails which included about 10 offers.

At least this way it was all up front for everyone to see.

What a strange reaction  ???

I do not know what Tristans position is but I wish to move into WFP albeit slowly and this has been a great opportunity for me to make a start. With my small round and client base a backpack is ideal, all I need now is the rest of the kit  :)

From here I hope to move things forward and once all the pieces are in place proceed in safety - I hope and not get those ladder and hip aches, which seem to come to those of my age   ;)

Thanks again for the opportunity David, I think the mini auction was a great idea  ;D   ;D

Thanks David :)

I agree with John L : a great auction.

I have been after a backpack for a while.

Having a 800 ltr van mount in a Transit , i will use the backpack as an additional tool.

A hotel that i clean has just been refurbished (replaced all windows for new) the only way to get the top exterior
windows is from the inside with a backpack.
This will be a very usefull tool.
