Posted by L.Doubtfire (L.Doubtfire), 11 January 2004
Does  anyone know of a product that actually does remove urine stains,
odour and contamination from carpets and soft fabrics,
not just plasant smelling masking fluids.
Thanks for replies.

Lewis,

Old. set urine stains can be indelible, however Prochem B153 is highly effective at removeing both odour and discolouration.

For persistent staining there are also other treatments but these are best left to those qualified and experienced in soft furnishing cleaning.

The Host product smoke ex is excellent for removing odour i use it for nursing homes and you can imagine the smells in these places.

Steve,

I wish I only imagined the smell in nursing homes Cry

The Host product is an effective deodouriser but what about neutralising the alkalinity or the post-amonial uric salts?
