NIACE offers financial awards to young adult trainers

Edu-Clean UK works in association with NIACE, the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education, helping to represent the interests of adult learners in the UK.

Edu-Clean would like to make it known to the cleaning industry that NIACE has ten £1,000 awards on offer to providers who can demonstrate good practice in educating young adults.

The awards are being made as part of the NIACE Sign Up Now campaign, with the aim of recognising the creativity of organisations providing innovative learning opportunities to young adults aged 16 – 25. Applicants will be accepted from England only, and will be asked to state how they would use the award, if successful. The closing date for entries is Monday, 1 December 2003.

Additionally, NIACE are also running a competition to find the best-designed course prospectus. The organisation will award £500 to the one their panel selects in January 2004. The closing date for entries is 21 November 2003.

More information about both competitions, and other awards can be found   http://www.niace.org.uk/ALW/Competitions/Default.htm
