Window Cleaning Issues - Canvassing, pole systems, pricing, problems, etc.

What to say when canvassing?

Hello All,

When you do house to house canvassing what do you find best to say to the householder?

"Do you need a Window Cleaner?"

"We are expanding our businesses into this area, would you like us to clean your windows?"

Or something along these lines..?

Any help much appreciated.

When i used to go out canvassing i just used to say that we are expanding in the local area and would they like a window cleaner and from that it would be a yes or no and i could move quickly from one to the next. Wink

Steve you hit the nail on the head. When I first went out canvassing I asked the same as you and I think that by sying "expanding" and not saying "i am starting" makes a lot of difference. I think they take you more seriously.
