Angle Adaptor For W.Fed Poles

Posted by L.Doubtfire (L.Doubtfire), 14 February 2004
Is there anyone on the group who knows who stocks and sells the small
plastic angle adaptor thats used on some of the O.T.T. poles in conjunction
with their brushes? Its colour is black.I don`t think O.T.T. ( Ionic) do them
anymore or at least they are not advertised in their up to date brochures that
I have. Some time ago I was told they are a Contico product, but I can`t find
anything after a `search`. I assume this product is still made. All replies to the
whereabouts of a stockist etc. much appreciated.

Can the residential poles from ott (and others) be cut down/ modified? For instance could the brush be changed?

You could change the brush I guess provided the brush you want to use has
the same width opening as the present brush O.T.T. use.
Personally I find once the detergent has been rinsed away its a nice brush to use.
Its a straight fit on,not angled like most. Its the angle adaptor itself I`ve found
difficult to obtain.

Yes, its very easy.  I have done this with my 18ft residential pole so as to accept my brush with modified jets.

Also, the end clamp can be removed, the pole sawn, and then the clamp replaced again so as to make the pole shorter.
