Glynn as he know the best and cheapest place to get hoses from
John Flynn who will tell you about water tanks and added heat as he has a good supplier and has used a mega port with a non standard tank set up before ( actually I swapped him mine then we swapped back , long story! )
These 2 are on this bb
Hope this helps
Ps do you still want those turbos?
Posted by ALEXDH (ALEXDH), 30 January 2004I have found surprisingly good prices for vacuum hose at regent hose and hydraulics outlets ,worth having a look if you have one nearby.
The end are properly known as cuffs i have been told.
All the best
Posted by Old_Master (Old_Master), 31 January 2004Hi I can supply 2" vacumm hose @ £4.00 a metre.
We have a large range of propane gas instant water heaters from £120.00 + vat
Posted by mike_halliday (mike_halliday), 31 January 2004Geoff, none of the water heater on Omnipoles website are suitable for use with your machine without major alteration.
but the hose looks good value .
Posted by Glynn (Glynn), 31 January 2004Is it a TM your wanting hoses for ? and sol or vac ?
I have an aluminiun tank for sale as well, could let it go at a good price.
Posted by squeaky (squeaky), 3 February 2004Old_Master,
Just contacted Omnipole and they have quoted me £9.34 per metre for 1 1/2 inch vacuum pipe, where did you get £4 per metre for 2 inch from ?

Posted by Old_Master (Old_Master), 3 February 2004Squeky the price is £4.00 a metre for 2" vacuum tube. Ill get a price tommorow for 11/2" for you, not sure what tube they quoted you on, at that price it sounds like pressure hose.
Posted by squeaky (squeaky), 5 February 2004Old Master,
Have you got the price yet for the vacuum pipe?
Posted by gwrightson (gwrightson), 5 February 2004hahahahaah yes i got a price from chem spec
think they gone wrong some were seem like they want to charge me £232 plus vat for 15 metres seems alot
what do you think
i sent a nice e mail back to julie roberts the sales girl i assume declining the offer
unless was THE Jjuliia roberts tried to contact omnipole with the offer of £4 a metre but cant seem to get any response regards geoff
Posted by Old_Master (Old_Master), 5 February 2004I got an answer - The hose you telephoned my office about was apparently a two tone hose with a special coil thread
is this right?
The hose I quoted for @ £4.00 Metre was normal 2" vacuum hose. To be honest I'm not sure what the difference is!
Posted by Old_Master (Old_Master), 5 February 2004Mind you even if you want the special hose we are still almost £100.00 cheaper on a 15metre length. So still good value
Posted by squeaky (squeaky), 6 February 2004Hi Old-master,
No I asked for Vacuum hose , He asked me what it was for and I told him that it was for a truckmounted carpet cleaning machine, he seemed to know what it was that I needed.
So can you still get 2 inch for £4 a metre?
Posted by Old_Master (Old_Master), 6 February 2004Yes vacuum hose £4.00 per metre
