Posted by Lee_Taylor (Lee_Taylor), 28 July 2003Hi Nige the big advantage with A frame ladders is that you can rest them right in the top corner of the window rather than having to use them at right angles to the wall all the time. They can also be rested on the horizontal and vertical seperators found on commercial windows. I dont enjoy using ladders of any sort so I tend to use a pole wherever I can and I specialise in bungalow work! If I had to use a ladder though then I would go for the A frame. The best place to get them from is Lansford Access in Bristol. They may be able to help with the replacement feet you were after as well
