Posted by exterioruk (exterioruk), 1 February 2004Does anyone know were i can buy rubbers in meter lenghs, ten or so would be great. fed up of buying at 36 ince strips.
any help please
Posted by wipe_clean (wipe_clean), 1 February 2004IF YOU ARE ALREADY BUYING THEM IN 36 INCH LENGTHS. METRE LENGTHS ARE ONLY 3 INCH SHORTER AT 33 INCHES.
I THINK YOU ARE MEANING SOMETHING ELSE OTHERWISE YOU MUST HAVE THOUGHT A METRE WAS A LOT SMALLER THN 33 INCHES
Posted by denzle (Denzle), 1 February 2004I think you'll find that a metre is 39".
Try Darell at the window clean centre, that's where we get all our rubber from. But most on-line WC supplies should stock that length.
Posted by exterioruk (exterioruk), 1 February 2004sorry i mean buying them a in m as many meters as i want, i was looking to buy them in a reel of about 10 -20 meters at a time
Posted by WavieDavie (WavieDavie), 1 February 2004Hi ex,
I've never heard of them being made as an extrusion, they usually get made in moulds, but you can get 36" + 42" rubbers from "three star" brand.
Whisper it around here, but I get them from CleanTech - Ssshhh!
